Our Executive Team
As Executive/Clinical Director, Jennifer Keany, M.S., M.F.T., supervises all Keany Associates programs and has worked with developmentally delayed individuals for 20 years. Upon finishing her Master’s Degree in Counseling psychology 15 years ago and subsequently becoming licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist (#MFC38484), Jennifer started Keany Associates to serve the special needs clients of Western Los Angeles County. She oversees each client’s therapeutic program and manages the needs of the staff so that they are equipped with what they need to help your child be successful. In addition to providing direct service to clients, Jennifer offers lectures to professional and parent groups about the role of behavior intervention in a treatment program.

Carrie M. Armstrong, M.A.
Director of Infant Development
Carrie M. Armstrong, Director of Infant Development, helped create and now directs the Infant Development Program at Keany Associates. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech and Hearing Science, and a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE), which uniquely qualifies her to work with children from birth-5 years of age. Carrie has worked with infants and toddlers who are at-risk or have special needs professionally for nearly ten years. She is formally trained in American Sign Language (ASL) and in the implementation of the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS). Additionally, she is a member of the Infant Development Association (IDA) of California.

The Infant Specialists who will provide direct service to our clients all hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development, Psychology, or a related field. They have many years of experience and a genuine passion for working with children and their families.
The Director for the Behavior Intervention program is Sam Bakhoum. Sam has his Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and has worked with children and adults with special needs for over a decade. He will be overseeing the daily operation of your child’s program and provide valuable parent training and support.

The skilled Behaviorists providing direct service to our clients have many years of experience and demonstrate a commitment to this field, their clients, and to continually improving their professional skills. Keany Associates makes every effort to consistently provide or send staff members to trainings on a variety of behavior-related topics. We are continually improving our methods and techniques in order to stay current with new developments in the field and provide the best service possible.
Jessie White, M.S., Assistant Director of Behavior Intervention, holds her advanced degree in Educational Counseling with Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credentials. While working on her degree, Jessie assisted in several research studies aiming to develop valuable methods of teaching and testing academic subjects, for the benefit of special education and classroom inclusion. She has worked with children with special needs for almost ten years and looks forward to working with your family.

Jon Roos, M.A., BCBA, holds an advanced degree in Counseling Psychology and is a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern (#57567). As Director of Training and Education, Jon provides cutting-edge training to the staff and interventionists at Keany Associates. His enthusiastic approach to professional education offers the staff new and creative ways to learn and stay up-to-date with necessary skills and certifications.
